Yay – I'm glad to hear the movie is good (and a faithful interpretation of the book). I loved the book but had the same problem through the first section, waiting for the intrigue and exciting stuff to get started, so I'm glad they pared that down. Can't wait to see it!

I think it was Ebert who made the point about the computer stuff being real. And man, how refreshing that was! It's possible the Swedes have completed all three movies already – I recall seeing 2009 dates on them on IMDB. So I bet by next spring, we'll have seen them all here in N. America.
